Hello! I am a computational biophysicist with experience in minimal method development, elastic rods, liquid-liquid phase separation, research software engineering and high-performance computing. Previous: FFEA Group at Leeds, Collepardo Lab at Cambridge. Current: computational scientist at the STFC. You can get in touch with me at [email protected]. While you're here, please take a look at my CV and LinkedIn profile!

In my spare time, I write books, short stories and screenplays. I have a natural inclination toward comedy, horror and science fiction, or some combination thereof. I sometimes publish stories anonymously on Reddit.

Max Everdrive

Max Everdrive is a sitcom I wrote in the early stages of the pandemic (mostly in April-May 2020). It's an attempt to capture the feeling of the time, alongside a more general exploration of science, pop-culture and hauntology. It's about a suicidally depressed talking dog searching for a new home after the destruction of Earth. You can download the scripts for all 6 episodes.

Hell Bent

Hell Bent is a tale of crime and redemption beyond life and death. This is a feature length screenplay for a supernatural comedy/crime movie. I wrote this in 2016 in a span of around three weeks, as a writing experiment. It is available under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Logline: An aging mobster concocts a plan to steal ambrosia from the gods, but ends up fighting to save his soul. Download Hell Bent

Memories for Sale

A short story I wrote in 2015 that can be loosely classified as speculative fiction. The story is about a man who sells his memories for money. You can also find this story on Reddit's 'nosleep' forum.
